Audio: solo tracks and track lists

In Add Stage, select Audio, then choose:

Mode Use it for Feedback context
Solo Track One voiceover, mix, podcast, or music draft Positions on one waveform
Track List Several music options, cues, or an album The selected track and its discussion

A track list isn’t a multitrack audio editor. Stago reviews the files you supply; make mixing and mastering changes in your audio software.

  1. Create a Solo Track stage and upload the file.
  2. Wait for audio processing and waveform generation.
  3. Open the paired review, play the audio, and seek to the moment you need to discuss.
  4. Open Comments and add feedback at the selected time. Describe what the listener should hear, such as “Lower the music under this sentence”.

Select the correct version before reviewing. Use Request Changes for a revision or Approve to accept the draft when you have that permission.

Create a Track List stage and use Batch Upload to select multiple audio files. Check each file’s progress, then finish the upload using the completion control. Open the review and choose the track you want to play or discuss.

Likes or favorites help the team compare options; they don’t approve the stage. Name the track in general feedback so other reviewers can identify it. Track comments and timestamp comments serve different purposes.

Return to the upload stage when revisions are requested. Check which review version and track are active after uploading; comments on an earlier selection don’t describe every item in a new batch.

Download an individual track when allowed. For the final handoff, use the approved selection and the release controls available for that project, rather than treating every liked track as a delivery asset.

No sound? Check player volume, the device’s output, processing state, and the original file in another player. No waveform yet? Wait for processing; refreshing repeatedly won’t speed it up. Accepted formats are listed in file formats.
