Upload the draft

Create a Video upload stage, then select or drop the video into its upload area. Keep the page open while the transfer runs. A completed transfer may still need processing before the review player becomes ready.

Open the paired review stage and play the beginning, a middle section, and the end before inviting reviewers. Use upload troubleshooting if processing or playback fails.

Review with the player

Use the timeline to find the frame you want to discuss. The player provides play/pause, volume, playback speed, quality choices when processed versions are available, and fullscreen. Changing preview quality doesn’t replace the original upload.

Pause at the relevant moment, open Comments, and write the change you need. A timestamp comment lets another reviewer return to that point. When drawing or a bounding-box annotation is available, mark the area and explain it in words as well.

Choose the right version

Select the draft version before commenting or deciding. Earlier comments belong to the version that received them. Use the comparison controls to inspect two available video drafts; check both version names instead of assuming “latest” means “approved”.

Choose Request Changes when the draft needs another pass. Upload the revision through the upload stage, then check the new review version. Approve accepts the selected draft; stage completion and the project’s final release remain separate actions.

Downloads and delivery

Use the download control to obtain the original when your permissions allow it. Preview quality and download permission are separate. A client link may permit watching while hiding download.

After approval, select the accepted assets for the final release. Publishing to YouTube is a separate, plan-dependent action; uploading a video doesn’t publish it.

Common questions

Why can’t my client comment? Check the stage’s comment setting, portal review visibility, the link’s comment permission, and the draft’s state.

Why is the player empty? Confirm processing has finished and that the selected draft contains the intended file. Some source encodings need conversion even when their container format is accepted.
