Review the selected material and version before deciding. The same project can contain video, audio, image galleries, uploaded documents, an editable script, and links; each has a different feedback context.
Open the right review
Section titled “Open the right review”For uploaded media and documents, open the paired review stage after upload and processing. For a collaborative document or a link collection, use its own stage. Confirm the version, track, gallery item, or document content you intend to review.
See the detailed guides for video, audio, images, PDF/Word, shared documents, and links.
Give actionable feedback
Section titled “Give actionable feedback”Use Comments to describe the required change. Anchor media feedback to time or the intended item where supported. For uploaded documents, include a page, heading, or quotation. Reply within the existing thread rather than starting an unrelated discussion.
Resolve a thread when it has been handled. Resolution doesn’t approve the draft. Team-only discussion uses the internal-comment control where available; verify the client view before sharing sensitive work.
Approve or request changes
Section titled “Approve or request changes”Approve accepts the selected draft or saved document. Request Changes sends it back for another pass under the revision rules. The authorized approver must have the required permission or assignment; an assignee isn’t automatically the reviewer.
Save collaborative-document changes before deciding. If Request Changes is disabled, check the current decision state and revision limit rather than deleting feedback to try to enable it.
Client review
Section titled “Client review”A client uses a portal link with separate permissions for viewing, comments, approval, revision requests, upload, and download. If a decision control is absent, check both the link and the stage’s state. The client doesn’t need internal project membership simply to review shared material.
Final project approval
Section titled “Final project approval”Draft approval makes an asset eligible for the agreed delivery process. Select the intended release assets, check any Main Video choice, and then complete the project’s final approval. The newest upload isn’t automatically the final release.
