Organization workspaces

Available onBusiness

An organization provides a shared workspace for a team. It has its own membership, ownership context, plan, storage, and credit allowance.

Open Settings → Organization and use the organization creation control when your account is eligible. Enter the requested details, then check the organization shown by the workspace switcher.

Switch between personal and organization contexts before creating projects, selecting contacts, or using shared resources. A context switch doesn’t silently transfer existing personal projects or files into the organization.

Use the Organization members section to invite people and assign the available organization role. An owner or authorized manager controls membership; individual project membership and stage assignments still need the appropriate setup.

Review pending invitations before resending or revoking them. Seat counts and billable capacity belong to the organization’s subscription. Check the confirmation and billing summary before changing paid capacity.

Organization projects use their owning workspace’s entitlements, storage, and AI balance. Personal resources can remain separate, so check the active scope when a file, contact, credit balance, or limit looks unexpected.

A shared YouTube channel has its own connection and publishing permissions. Connect it in the Organization section rather than assuming every member’s personal channel becomes shared.

Use the organization settings offered for workspace identity and custom-domain setup. Client portal branding and portal domains have their own portal settings; a workspace domain isn’t automatically a client link for every portal.

If the workspace is frozen or read-only after a subscription change, read its notice and restore eligible paid access through the owner when appropriate. Don’t delete content just to try to make the workspace writable.

For individual project access, use roles and permissions. For invoices and plan changes, use subscription and billing.
