Open Storyboard from the document/script workspace where available. Save the working script first so the storyboard uses the intended content.
Prepare and generate
Section titled “Prepare and generate”Enter or select the script, choose the available generation settings, and inspect the displayed credit quote. Start generation and wait for the panels to load.
Review the scene breakdown before treating it as a shooting plan. Check names, locations, visual continuity, and whether each panel describes something the team can produce.
Edit panels
Section titled “Edit panels”Select a panel to edit its available shot information, description, or visual direction. Save the changes, then regenerate that panel’s image when you need the visual to reflect a new instruction.
Regenerating an image is a separate AI operation. Check its displayed cost, and preserve a useful result before choosing Regenerate All. A changed prompt doesn’t imply an old generated image has already changed.
Grid and timeline
Section titled “Grid and timeline”Use Grid view to inspect the panel set and Timeline view to review order and timing. Select a panel to inspect its details; check durations and the total sequence rather than assuming the AI’s timing matches your edit.
The storyboard plans the work. It doesn’t replace the video timeline or export a finished edited film.
Export and reset
Section titled “Export and reset”Use Export shot list (CSV) for the working shot-list export. Controls marked Coming soon, including placeholder export options in some views, aren’t available exports.
Reset storyboard removes the current storyboard work according to its confirmation. Read that confirmation and keep the needed shot list or source script before resetting.
If generation is unavailable, check that the script has loaded and is saved, that you have the required access, and that the applicable credit balance covers the operation.
