Open Participants in the sidebar to reach Team Management. The catalog contains your contacts and collaborators; belonging to the catalog doesn’t automatically add someone to every project.
Contacts, roles, and groups
Section titled “Contacts, roles, and groups”Use the personal scope for your contact catalog. Search and role/tag/status filters narrow the list. A contact can exist before that person joins Stago.
Create a role/group for a reusable set of responsibilities and permissions. Open it to edit its name, description, color, permissions, and members. Review the scope before changing it, because a shared role can affect more than one person.
Add people to a project
Section titled “Add people to a project”Open the project and choose Team Members → Manage.
| Tab | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Members | Review current members, roles, pending invites, and project overrides |
| Add | Select existing contacts and choose Add Selected |
| Invite by Email | Enter a new collaborator’s email, select a role, and choose Send Invite |
Check the recipient and role before inviting. Use Resend Invite for an intended pending invitation rather than creating a duplicate contact. Removing someone from a project is different from deleting their contact entry.
Assign stage work
Section titled “Assign stage work”Use Assignees for the people doing the work and Approvers for the people deciding whether it is accepted. Project permission overrides handle exceptions to the usual role. See permissions before granting broad access to solve one blocked action.
Who can download a file?
Section titled “Who can download a file?”Viewing a project doesn’t automatically grant permission to download every file. Team downloads depend on role and project permissions. For portal visitors, check Download on that specific link in Links.
A client may be able to watch a draft without downloading it. Ask the owner to adjust the intended permission; don’t forward someone else’s link as a substitute.
Organization catalog
Section titled “Organization catalog”The organization view contains the active workspace’s shared member catalog. Personal team and project participation remain separate and have their own limits. See organization workspaces for membership, seats, and shared ownership.
